Colton is a lively, active and friendly church situated in the Old Colton Village and the middle of a modern housing development.  We meet regularly each Sunday at 10.45am, Junior Church takes place at this time, the 1st Sunday of the month is a Family/Parade.

Our building was built with the purpose of it being used by the community.  We have a lot of activities that take place each night.  We are part of Churches Together in Leeds 15 and join them for various events during the year as advertised at the appropriate time.  We support various charities throughout the year and our children collect for JMA.

Colton Methodist Church has chosen the Meeting Point Café as the charity it wishes to support this year (July 2009 to June 2010). Many thanks to all who supported the recent coffee morning and the various fundraising activities which are ongoing.

The congregation is now asked to donate items for hampers to be distributed by Meeting Point during the Christmas period. All contributions will be gratefully received.

Further fundraising events are being planned, including a Quiz Night to be held on Saturday 16th January 2010, hosted by a Guest Quiz Master. Groups will be asked to submit a team and hopefully, the “audience” will enjoy cheering on their favourite team at the appropriate moment. – An evening of fun for all.
